Network Assessments
A documented picture of what you actually have, what is at risk, and what to do about it in priority order.
An assessment answers a question most businesses cannot answer confidently: what is actually installed, how is it configured, and what is about to cause a problem.
It is also the sensible first step before any large purchase, and the usual starting point for a new client relationship.
Sound familiar?
- No documentation exists for the current setup
- The previous provider left and took the knowledge with them
- A large purchase is being considered without a clear baseline
- Cyber insurance or a client is asking questions nobody can answer
- Recurring problems have no identified cause
- Nobody is sure whether the backups would work
How Alienstech handles it
The assessment covers the whole environment: network equipment and layout, servers and their roles, workstations and their age, firewall configuration, wireless coverage, backups and whether they restore, Microsoft 365 or other cloud services, accounts and permissions, licensing, warranties and internet circuits.
What you receive is a written report with diagrams, an inventory, the findings ranked by risk, and a recommended order of work with rough costs. Anything urgent is called out as urgent.
The report is yours whether or not any further work follows. It is useful to a different provider, and that is the point.
What you get
- A written baseline of everything you own and run
- Risks ranked so you know what to deal with first
- A recommended order of work with rough costs
- Documentation that belongs to you
- A sound basis for any large purchase
